Adrienne is an adoptable Jack Russell Terrier mix, and she is really a sweet little girl. She is about 8 years old, and she only weighs about 15 pounds. Poor little Adrienne, a volunteer picked her up and brought her in after she was literally pitched out of a car window on Woodhaven Boulevard. She has obviously not been treated well in the past, so she is just waiting for someone who can wrap her up in their arms and show her what love is all about! When you first meet Adrienne, she might seem a bit upset in her cage. This is only because she cannot see very well, so she gets startled by unfamiliar noises and people scooping her up when she doesnt see them. But dont worry! Just go slow with Adrienne and let her know you are there, and she will quietly come to sit in your lap just like the little pancake she is! She likes to be held and petted, but you should probably resist the urge to squeeze this little cutie until she is sure she can trust you. Just give Adrienne a little while to get to know you, and she will be your girl for the rest of her life!
